About Us

Welcome to General Mart Living, your trusted British specialist in versatile inflatable air beds, vehicle travel mattresses, and compact folding sleep solutions.

Our London Heritage & Community Foundations

Our practical commercial story began in East London on Dersingham Avenue, Manor Park. Operating formally as GENERAL FOOD STORE LTD (incorporated in England and Wales in 2010, Company No. 07213029), our business has spent over a decade providing dependable retail goods and friendly service directly to the local community.

Through years of daily customer interactions, we learned what modern British households value most: smart space utilization, genuine comfort, and straightforward value without high-street markups.

Why We Launched Our Dedicated Portable Sleep Store

In modern homes, space is at a premium. Whether welcoming unexpected weekend guests, planning a staycation road trip across the UK, or transforming an SUV or campervan into a cozy sleeping space, having dependable temporary bedding is essential. Conventional guest beds are bulky and expensive, while cheap camping mats often leak air overnight.

To provide British families, road-trippers, and campers with reliable, supportive sleep wherever they are, we launched our official direct-to-consumer online store—generalmartliving.co.uk. While drawing on our long-standing retail experience, this online storefront serves as our independent digital home. Every product in our digital warehouse is 100% brand-new and quality-checked—from multi-chamber car air mattresses with headrests for SUVs and road-trip vehicles, to heavy-duty flocked king-size inflatable sofabeds, and high-density tri-fold floor mattresses.

Our Independent Retailer Commitment

We treat our online customers with the same honesty and personal care you would expect from an established British neighborhood shop:

  • Factory-Fresh Comfort: Every inflatable bed, folding foam mattress, and travel mat arrives brand-new, factory-sealed, and pre-tested for air-tight integrity.
  • 100% Free Nationwide UK Delivery: Upfront, transparent pricing with zero carriage fees or surprise checkout supplements across the UK.
  • 28-Day Hassle-Free Returns: A prepaid return shipping label is enclosed right inside your delivery package, making mail returns simple and completely free if an airbed doesn't fit your space.
  • Direct Support from London: Dedicated assistance from our London customer care team whenever you need advice regarding car compatibility or mattress dimensions.
